Cedar wood and leather coffee table, 'Energy of Life' (Peru)

Moises Alvarez finds inspiration in the art and beliefs of the Inca for the design of this coffee table. Carved from cedar wood, the table is topped with finely-tooled leather depicting two ceremonial tumi daggers. They flank Lord Wiracocha, one of the most well-known deities in the Inca pantheon, and who symbolizes the energies of life.
