No need to host a hunt — these eggs are fully on colorful display. Use paint to transform an assortment of decorative eggs to create a colorful pastel rainbow centerpiece for Easter dinner.
pastel rainbow Easter egg centerpiece

This idea comes from our friend Kara Whitten of A Kailo Chic Life. Her tip for a beautiful Easter table: "Style with coordinating assortment of colored plates or napkins to continue the pastel rainbow throughout the table settings." This centerpiece was placed on a 6-foot-long table, or about 4 eggs per foot. We recommend using 1 large egg (about 8 to 10 inches) and a few smaller eggs (2, 4, and 6 inches) per color to craft a full assortment.

What you need

How to do it

Part 1

Step 1

Paint the foam eggs in a rainbow of pastel colors; let dry completely. (Tip: To keep eggs from rolling mid-brushstroke, prop them on a roll of tape or in a small bowl.)

Step 2

Arrange painted eggs in the center of the table in a rainbow pattern. (Optional: To prevent freestanding eggs from rolling on the table, use hot glue gun to attach the eggs together into one centerpiece.)
