Born and raised in Southern France, Christophe Pourny grew up in his parents' antiques store, where the love of furniture and artisanal techniques became second nature. Following an apprenticeship in Paris and exposure to a loyal clientele from San Francisco to St. Tropez, Christophe opened his own restoration studio in Brooklyn, NY, fifteen years ago. Specializing in French polish, period finishes, antiques restoration, and custom furniture production, the studio is proud to call some of the most talented interior designers in the industry clients. Christophe has also worked extensively on the restoration of City Hall, Gracie Mansion, and the Holy See Mission to the United Nations. Due to popular demand following a segment on "The Martha Stewart Show" four years ago, Christophe and cofounder Jason Jobson were inspired to bottle the all-natural formulas used in the studio and bring them to market. Made in small batches in Brooklyn, NY, the collection has grown to include an assortment of treatments for wood, leather, and stone surfaces. The studio has now shipped orders to all 50 states, across Europe, and to Japan.
