  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees, with rack in upper third. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss together apple, celery, 1 tablespoon oil, and caraway seed. Add bread, arrange in an even layer, and bake 10 minutes.

  • Pour broth on top and stir until absorbed. Rub chicken with remaining tablespoon oil and add to sheet. Season stuffing and chicken with salt and pepper. Bake until stuffing is golden brown and chicken is cooked through, 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley to serve.

This is yummy. I was surprised at how important the caraway seeds are to the dish's taste. My only suggestion is to warn people not to line the sheet pan with foil. I did and ended up with some of the bread stuck to the foil.

This is awesome! Such a great way to use up old freezer bread...did sub out caraway for sage and add poultry seasoning

This is one of my favorite meals to make! I love how the bread turns out and I usually don't even add the caraway seeds. Sometimes I'll sprinkle some italian seasoning on the stuffing or thyme. It's always delicious and my family love it.

So easy and delicious! My husband loved it, too! I didn't have caraway seed so I used some thyme and rosemary. I baked the chicken for 45 minutes and it was perfect. I will make this often.
