Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the brown sugar from smoking up the entire house? We loved tthis dish and would make it again for its simplicity and flavor combination of sweet and heat, but had to open all the windows and turn the fan on high to keep the smoke detector from going off!

Flavors are great, but after making this, I'd flip it 1/2 way. I didn't, and ended up with a fairly-charred bottom. Nobody likes a charred bottom. :)
