Prick and bake the potatoes at 400 degrees for 1 hour or microwave on high for 15 to 20 minutes.

      The reason for using the "slow cooker", these are recipes for summer! The reason for the foil, following recipe book that came with the slow cooker! The yogurt and stock take the place of milk and butter in most recipes, making this healthier!! As for blender or mixer, I just use my potato masher. I do not like loose/runny potatoes! So, now you return from a lovely day at the beach or the cool movie theater, dinner is well in hand, just prepare the veggies. Throw together a simple salad. Depending on the size of potato, when you can pick one up and make a dent by squeezing, dinner is ready!! No over taxing your A/C with heat from the oven. Just remember to recycle the foil!raf

    Why in the world would you have to wrap the potatoes in foil? Slow cooker is clean, this doesn't make sense and seems like a waste of time and foil!

    I made these for dinner tonight and they were quite good! The flavors were fantastic! I would recommend putting the potato-yogurt-broth mixture in an electric mixer, as that will make the mix creamier. Over all, very good!
