How to do it

Part 1

Step 1

Measure fabric to fit the inside of the window, adding a few inches to the height, for sewing channels at the bottom and top, and 1 inch for sewing side seams.

Step 2

Machine-sew the hems and seams, and then slip tension rods through the channels.

Step 3

Once the top rod is in place, you can adjust the amount of light in the room with the bottom rod.
