Rocket Ship Invitation Template
Show guests just how out-of-this-world your birthday bash will be with invites shaped like rocket ships.
Glue an 8 1/2-inch-by-5 1/2-inch sheet of blue construction paper to a piece of silver paper that's the same size. Fold the long ends to the middle. Trace the template onto the folded paper and cut out. Add a flag sticker and seal the flaps with a sticker of the child's age.

For memorable, fun invitations for your animal-themed birthday, send out construction-paper masks with details written on the back (the same oval shape can be turned into a pig, bear, or other animal).
Use the template to cut the outer shape from both brown and yellow construction paper; glue together with a glue stick, and cut out eye holes. Then use the template to cut out yellow features, and glue on. Punch holes at sides; tie on ribbons.
