I doubled the recipe to bring to a party and it was a big hit. I used skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into pieces and pounded to even thickness. I sautéed 3 mins on each side after sprinkling with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I also used 24 ozs of broccoli florets which I cooked by dropping into pasta water for 2 mins (prior to cooking pasta). Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Quite a few guests went back for seconds, muttering "the Alfredo is delicious"

I made this again this year exactly as I made it last year. I would recommend saving some of the pasta water to add to the sauce. Unless a pasta dish is eaten right away, the pasta quickly absorbs the sauce. I thought my dish was a tad dry this year.

The recipe calls for one pound of pasta. One serving of dry pasta = 2 ounces. Depending on appetite, this recipe will serve from 4 to 8.

Can't wait to make this for my daughter. It is one of her favorite dishes she orders when we go out to eat. She is in college now and I will share this recipe so that she can make it for herself. Thank you, Martha

Awesome recipe. Pressed some of the garlic into the sauce after simmering but, other than that, no other adjustments necessary. Since I had all of the ingredients on hand, it was definitely a great go to recipe for tonight's dinner.

Easy and very tasty. I have tried several different recipes, and this was by far the easiest and tastiest. I used a mixture of half and half and whole milk, and it was still delicious. You can easily add mushroom or bacon to jazz it up. Good go to recipe when I am in a pinch and need something quick.
