Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Got Married Again—Here's a Recap of Their Italian Wedding Weekend
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker said "I do" once again—this time in an intimate Italian ceremony! After eloping in Las Vegas on April 4 and tying the knot in a legal ceremony along the California coast on May 15, the reality star and musician kicked off their wedding weekend abroad on Friday, May 20. The pair held a dinner with handmade pasta, sea bass, and coffee parfaits at Ristorante Puny in Portofino, Italy, with their children and other close loved ones. The group gathered again the next afternoon on May 21 for a pre-wedding lunch at a historic stone building with arched windows, near Abbey of San Fruttuoso, Us Weekly reported. A source close the couple shared that the bride and groom—both donning matching black attire—had an "amazing time in this beautiful place spending time with friends and family."
Kardashian and Barker exchanged vows on Sunday, May 22, in an intimate wedding ceremony at a villa in Portofino. All of the guests, including the bride's sisters, arrived at the location by water taxi for the traditional nuptials. Kris Jenner tearfully walked her daughter down the aisle, who wore a Dolce & Gabbana mini dress and an embroidered veil, for the ceremony. Kardashian's daughter Penelope Disick served as the flower girl and her son, Reign Disick, the ring bearer, brought the rings to the altar. Barker's daughter, Alabama, and step-daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, were the bridesmaids at the nuptials. The ceremony itself lasted about 20 minutes and included several religious traditions; the altar was filled with and surrounded by red roses and dramatic candelabras.
Music was a big part of the couple's big day. Andrea Bocelli performed during both the ceremony and reception, the latter of which took place at Castello Brown, a castle in Portofino. Bocelli performed his song "Love in Portofino" to begin the reception, and he and his son, Matteo, sang Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" later on for Kardashian and Barker's first dance. "It was an incredible moment and a very special performance," a source told People.
The newlyweds celebrated well into the night during the party, that was described as "pure bliss" for the bride. "Italy is her happy place and it was always her Travis' plan to have the wedding there ever since they visited together," an insider told E! News. While the couple celebrated their marriage in a destination wedding, they are also planning a reception back in Los Angeles once they return.
