Zillow Estimates That Santa's North Pole Home Is Now Worth Over $1 Million

The 25-acre property features living quarters for Santa and his elves.

Christmas is less than one week away and while you've likely been busy baking cookies, decorating your tree, and buying presents, there's one man that is almost guaranteed to be busier than you this time of year: Santa Claus. The jolly Christmas legend and his elves have been hard at work making sure children all over the world feel the holiday spirit, but while you patiently wait for his arrival, Zillow is providing a bit of insight into Santa's life in the meantime. The online real estate marketplace recently revealed its fictional price estimate for Saint Nick's North Pole home is a whopping $1,031,401—a staggering increase from its previous 2012 estimate of $341,000.

The property features Santa's main living quarters—which were constructed in the 1800s—as well as the on-site accommodations for his elves, aptly named Elf Village. According to the listing, Santa's home is "steeped in Old World charm," but recent renovations offer modern-day amenities, like a gourmet kitchen that boasts an oven with 12 different cookie settings. You will also find a floor-to-ceiling river rock fireplace and a device that serves hot cocoa on tap. Fittingly, boughs of holly deck the hall of this four bedroom home, which also has a quiet study for Santa equipped with a writing desk that's flanked by the same sewing table he used to make the first ever Teddy bear.

Of course, Saint Nick wouldn't be able to pull off the job without his elves, who each have their own private and unique 150-square-foot cottages. The dwellings are nestled within Elf Village, where dinner parties are hosted by a crackling fire in a rustic mini cabin made of hand hewn logs. In the cabin you'll find a serving cart stocked with sugary potions, and a butcher block desk that nods to the elf's status as Head of Toys, Woodworking Division. After a day of toy making, the elves relax in the village's petite bamboo bungalow, where "the energy flows between the meditation space and yoga studio achieves perfect feng shui."

Beyond Santa's home and the elves' accommodations, the idyllic property has even more notable features. The 25 acres of land are also equipped with a state-of-the-art toy making facility, garage with space for a sleigh, and stables that board eight live-in reindeer, plus a separate stall for Rudolph!
