homemade holiday cards on shelf
Lennart Weibull

Turn blank card stock into sparkling holiday greetings with these die-cut felt snowflakes in glacial shades. Enliven them with glitter (if you wish) and your handwritten message. There are other ways, of course, to bring this seasonal motif into your home. Consider these pretty snowflake ideas—and master the art of the paper snowflake once and for all.

How to do it

Part 1

Step 1

Prep the paper. Start with a card that can stand up to glue, or, if you want to add a background color, paint. Paint the card, add text, and glue on glitter—or keep it plain, depending on the design you dream up.

Step 2

Next, embellish your card with felt. Attach precut felt shapes using spray adhesive. The pieces come in all shapes, sizes, and colors; we opted for pastel-blue snowflakes. Let dry completely before slipping into envelopes.
