Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell are officially newlyweds! After two years of dating, the couple tied the knot last weekend in Dunton, Colorado—and they are over the moon about finally making it to the altar. "I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife," Collins wrote in an Instagram post. "On September 4th, 2021, we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell." McDowell shared a tribute to his bride, too: "I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I've ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins."

To commemorate their nuptials, Collins wore a long sleeve embroidered high-neck wedding dress designed by Ralph Lauren, People reports; her hair was styled in a braid-wrapped, low bun. The actress' designer look also featured a hooded lace cape, which completed her big-day attire.

The couple announced their engagement one year ago on Instagram with a series of photos and a sweet caption from Collins: "I've been waiting my lifetime for you and I can't wait to spend our lifetime together." The proposal was ultimately similar to the pair's ceremony and featured a scenic outdoor backdrop (their engagement, however, took place in the desert in New Mexico). At the time, McDowell popped the question with a one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond ring.

Their families share the same excitement about their union, particularly McDowell's mom, Mary Steenburgen. "Charlie, my son, and Lily, my daughter-in-law!!!" Steenburgen wrote on Instagram. "Thank you for letting us all bask in the sheer beauty of your love for each other. My heart is overflowing and it almost feels like the last few days were some sort of beautiful dream. But it is all real, and I feel like the luckiest mother in the world." Ultimately, though, McDowell's loved ones have always considered Collins family. "Our family is over the moon to welcome Lily into our midst," Steenburgen previously said. "Truthfully, she had us all at hello. As a mom, this is what you dream of for your children—to find a soulmate in life that gets you and wants you to be the best you can be. The two of them radiate joy and they make even this moment in time shine with hope and promise and laughter. I can't stop smiling!"
