Jay-Z Shares Why He Loves Working Alongside Beyoncé

The moguls and married couple of 13 years most recently appeared in a campaign for a luxury line for Tiffany & Co.

Partnership is undoubtedly quintessential to Beyoncé and Jay-Z's work life and marriage. In honor of the artist and businessman's 18th anniversary of his 40/40 Club in New York City, he highlighted this very notion, explaining why working alongside his wife means so much to him. "She's super detail oriented, obviously, as you can see from her work," he told Entertainment Tonight. "She's an incredibly hard worker, super talented, very inspiring."

Beyoncé also attended the club's anniversary celebration, which came shortly after the power couple debuted their most recent venture: They jointly starred in a campaign for Tiffany & Co.'s fall 2021 jewelry line, titled "ABOUT LOVE." They took the professional opportunity to highlight their love story, as well. "Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the epitome of the modern love story," Alexandre Arnault, the executive vice president of product and communications, said. "As a brand that has always stood for love, strength, and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany's values. We are honored to have the Carters as a part of the Tiffany family."

The Carters have notably worked with each other on previous music endeavors, too, all while keeping their family first. Back in 2018, Beyoncé spoke of the "monumental" year they shared together, which was filled with family-centric moments. "At 36, I became a new mother of three. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of 10 years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love," she wrote on her website. "And we've been touring with our family around the world, and loving it."

The singer, actress, and entrepreneur has also taken time to share more about their growth together—on and off the stage. "My husband was a soldier and such a strong support system for me," she previously told Vogue about giving birth to their twins, Rumi and Sir, revealing that they spent weeks in the NICU. "I am proud to have been a witness to his strength and evolution as a man, a best friend, and a father." As for their time spent as collaborating artists? They cherish the opportunity to perform together. During her and Jay-Z's On the Run II tour, she shared, "When Jay and I sang our final song, we saw everyone smiling, holding hands, kissing, and full of love. To see such human growth and connection—I live for those moments."
