According to United Kingdom betting companies, that is.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are mere months away from becoming parents of two—and that means fans of the royal family are already sharing their best predictions for what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will name their baby girl. According to the Huffington Post, United Kingdom betting companies believe the couple will name their daughter after Harry's mother, Princess Diana: There are five-to-one odds on the Coral platform, four-to-one on Betfair and Paddy Power, and three-to-one on Betway and William Hill.

"Diana is the clear favorite in our market now, ever since Harry and Meghan confirmed that they could be having a baby girl," Harry Aitkenhead, a Coral spokesperson, previously told Metro. "We are convinced it will feature somewhere in the name, going five-to-one that it is the new arrival's first name."

Per royal insiders, however, it is doubtful that the royal pair will actually choose Diana as a first name. Instead, they might take after Kate Middleton and Prince William, who named their daughter Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and use the moniker in the middle. Bettors also feel more strongly about Meghan and Harry going with an "A" first name to mirror their son's, Archie. Top picks are Alice (14-to-one on Betfair, and 16-to-one on Coral, Betway, and William Hill), Alexandria (eight-to-one on Coral, 12-to-one on Betway), Allegra (11-to-one on Betfair and OddsMonkey), Abigail (14-to-one on Betfair), and Anne (25-to-one on Coral and Betway).

While other potential monikers have been added to the predictions list, like Doria (Meghan's mother's name), bettors are simply waiting to see what the couple will go with in the end. After all, bettors didn't get it right the first time around—though, their original predictions for Archie's name, including Arthur, Alexander, and Albert, were close. With Meghan due in the late spring or early summer, any name news from the happy couple and proud parents is likely soon to come.
