Emma Stone and Dave McCary Have Welcomed a Baby Girl!

Emma Stone has a brand-new role—and it's Mom! According to Page Six, the actress welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with husband Dave McCary on Saturday, March 13. If their treatment of previous relationship milestones is any indication, they might continue to keep the rest of their family details to themselves.

The couple initially met back in 2016 on the set of Saturday Night Live, when Stone hosted the show and McCary served as a segment director, and they were reported as a couple in 2017. This meeting place made McCary's marriage proposal all the more special a few years down the road. He popped the question to Stone after two years of dating in an office at the Saturday Night Live headquarters in Manhattan's 30 Rock building. "No one was there and by all accounts, it was very romantic," an insider shared.

While they announced their engagement in December 2019 with a sweet and simple post on Instagram, they kept their wedding plans private. People reported that they tied the knot in September 2020 after being spotted wearing matching wedding bands. When it comes to their actual relationship itself, though, Stone and McCary make their personal and professional lives a priority. "She is professional in every way, very talented and focused on her work, and Dave respects that," a source previously shared with People. "He totally supports her, and is unselfish in his desire for her success. Those are great qualities in a man for someone like Emma. She is impressed by his talent and respects him immensely."
