Nordic Ware Is Celebrating Their 75th Anniversary with the Release of Two Brand-New Cake Pans

From quality sheet pans to beautiful cake pans, Nordic Ware has been at the helm of dependable cookware and bakeware for 75 years. Now, in honor of this milestone anniversary, the brand is releasing two new Bundt pans at Williams-Sonoma. "The simple yet beautiful design features interwoven strands, which symbolize togetherness, continuity, and strength," says Susan Dalquist Brust, Vice President of Nordic Ware. Both pans are made from the brands signature cast-aluminum pan, which helps to create an easy release surface and intricate designs for any baked goods.

"While there have certainly been ups and downs aplenty during the past 75 years, cooking and baking have consistently fostered creative expression, togetherness, and joy. It means the world to us that families around the world are still making memories in their kitchens with our products," says Jennifer Dalquist, a third-generation family member of Nordic Ware.

The brand was founded by husband and wife team Dotty and Dave Dalquist in 1946 after Dave returned from World War II; in addition to celebrating Nordic Ware's anniversary, Dotty recently celebrated her 95th birthday and remains an active home cook and baker. Dotty appeared on The Martha Stewart Show on National Bundt Cake Day years ago, where our founder and Dotty baked a Bourbon Bundt Cake. "The Bundt pan has become an American icon," said Dotty at the time.

In addition to the two new pans, Nordic Ware has also teamed up with Williams-Sonoma and Bake From Scratch to offer Bundt cake-themed baking classes for home bakers everywhere. More events to celebrate the brand's 75th anniversary will be released in the coming months but for now, you can shop the new releases and experiment with baking a beautiful Bundt cake or moist loaf cake at home.

Nordic Ware 75th Anniversary Bundt Cake Pan

The anniversary Bundt pan is a version of Dotty and Dave's original design. It features high sides and is made from cast aluminum, which creates those picture-perfect indentations and definition. In honor of the tumultuous year that we have lived through due to the coronavirus pandemic, the interwoven design is intended to symbolize harmony.
