Jonathan Van Ness Revealed How He Met His Now-Husband Mark Peacock
When each new year rolls around, we often reflect on all of the meaningful experiences we shared over the last 12 months—especially if those months included a proposal or wedding. As for Jonathan Van Ness? He knows he has a lot to celebrate: He recently announced that he secretly tied the knot with his now-husband, Mark Peacock, in 2020. Better yet, he let his fans in on the origins of their romance. "We went on a date in London, which turned into more dates whilst I was on comedy tour," Van Ness wrote in an Instagram post.
The Queer Eye star added that, even though he introduced Peacock to some of his closest family and friends during a trip to Amsterdam after only a few weeks of dating, he knew that the timing was right. "Something about Mark felt different and I'm quite sure he felt the same," he noted.
While the details of their nuptials are still unknown, Van Ness shared that he is so grateful for his relationship with his interior designer spouse and noted that 2020 was one for the books. "Thank you universe for allowing me to be here and thanks to everyone who has supported me. 2020 was a year unlike any other," he shared on Instagram.
Most importantly, the television personality added that he simply cannot wait to take on this brand new chapter of his life with Peacock by his side, as they continue to grow together. "I got married to my best friend & have a loving partner to continue building my life with," he said.
