If it seems like your skin always looks better after a workout, that's because it does: Exercise helps get your blood flowing, and peak circulation is the key to a healthy glow. "For your skin, increased circulation means that nutrients and oxygen are reaching your cells; it's directly related to how good your skin looks," says Joanna Vargas, celebrity facialist and founder of Joanna Vargas Salon and skincare collection. "Any time circulation is boosted, it creates healthier tissue, oxygen is brought in, and waste is carried away better and faster." But for the bride-to-be who's after a youthful flush on her wedding day, there's not always time for blood-pumping workout before the ceremony.

Luckily, excercise isn't the only way to get a great natural glow. What you put on your skin can also help stimulate circulation. Vargas says neroli oil is one of the best ingredients for oxygenating the skin.
