Sarah Jessica Parker Puts Her Best Foot Forward With Her New Collection of Shoes Designed Just for Brides
An exclusive first look at her line of to-die-for styles for the wedding day.
She's famous for playing Manolo-crazy Carrie Bradshaw, but Sarah Jessica Parker's passion for cool kicks started long before that. "Growing up in Ohio, my brothers and sisters and I would make a special trip twice a year to buy new shoes," she recalls. That serious love led her to create the SJP collection, a line of killer styles that had fans flocking to stores just a year ago. Now she's focused on the big day, debuting a bridal capsule of ultra-aisle-worthy heels that feature classic shapes, unexpected shades (like moonstone, a shimmering pinkish white), and elegant details (like a "something blue" grosgrain ribbon stripe up the back). Here, we picked a few of our favorites.

"I love the color of this shoe, and the gem detail on the toe is so well made. The lines in this shoe are fantastic—the arch of the heel and the perfect point of the toe create the perfect silhouette from every angle." —Kate Berry, creative director
Mary in Plum, $585; nordstrom.com.
"When it comes to weddings, I always say when in doubt, go classic. I love this style—it's timeless, but also has a little bit of bling." —Darcy Miller, editorial director

"Sarah Jessica wore these mint satin pumps in the opening photo of our feature, and I won't even try to pretend I didn't choose them for that very reason. But I also love the classic shape and hint of sparkle." —Julie Vadnal, senior editor
Valentina in Liberty, $545; zapposcouture.com.
"This modern, strappy version of a pointed-toe pump would look amazing with anything from a sleek column to a more diaphanous sheath, but once I heard the name, I was sold! This style was named after me … right?" —Carrie Goldberg, senior associate fashion editor
Carrie in Moonstone, $355; zapposcouture.com.
"I never quite grew out of my love for Mary Janes, and this take on the style combines the coquettishness I still adore with a sophistication I would want as a bride." —Jennifer Hirshlag, executive digital editor

Pop of Personality
"Aegean blue shoes were my 'something blue' at my wedding, and I loved how they peeked out from under my dress in photos of our first dance. With its striking color and vintagey clip, the Maddalena would look so elegant stepping out from under a gown—and would bring good luck to the wearer as well." —Eleni Gage, executive editor
Maddalena in Skyline, $545; nordstrom.com.
