Give Your Centerpieces Another Chance and Give Back, Too
Recycling your wedding flowers? Yes, it is a possibility through a new service called Rebloom.
It was a beautiful wedding. And you're married. But in a similar way as a wedding kicking off a marriage, the event itself can keep on giving, too. Enter Rebloom. This New York-based company lets you be charitable without doing much. By working together with you and your floral designer, Rebloom picks up a predetermined number of your arrangements to sell for delivery in the area the day following your event. And the proceeds? They go to the charity of your choice.
At the end of one recent wedding, 24 arrangements of these orchids by Spina were sold through Rebloom, with the proceeds going to a local cat rescue and adoption organization.
Only in New York, Rebloom has plans to expand, so keep an eye out for this sustainable option in your town! And remember that you could go green and spread the love one vase of blooms at a time.
