Ciara Is "Definitely Still Floating" Since Marrying Russell Wilson
It's been almost three months since Ciara married NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, and she still can't stop talking about her wedding day. And who could blame her? The singer, who's on the cover of #Legend magazine for October, opened up about the big day and how life has been since.
"I definitely can say it was two of the most perfect days of my life," she said. "The day before and the day of the actual wedding was a special time. It was honestly so beautiful and I really felt like I was in a fairy tale."
Ciara definitely looked straight out of a fairy tale in her gorgeous Roberto Cavalli gown as she wed Wilson at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England on July 6th.
"Everything I could have hoped for, dreamed of, happened on that day," she said. "It was memorable. We spent two days with all of the people that we love-your family and your close friends. I'm definitely still floating. It's only three months ago and it's crazy how time goes by."
Ciara also opened up about being a mom to her 2-year-old son, Future Zahir, and how it's changed her attitude towards life.
"It makes you really understand the definition of being responsible," she said. "Because now it's like, every decision I make affects not only my life, but it affects his life. And having my child has really propelled me to focus even more on not only what I want personally, and then also as a businesswoman. It really helps you lock things down."
Wilson, who is Future's stepdad, took to Twitter to post images from his wife's #Legend shoot. In the three separate posts, he wrote, "My Treasure. My Wife. My Everything." Talk about a supportive couple!
