Alexis and Stephen's Laid-Back Rehearsal Dinner in Aspen, Colorado

To kick off their week-long destination wedding in Aspen, Colorado, Alexis and Stephen hosted a laid-back rehearsal dinner for all 65 of their wedding guests. After a Jeep ride through the picturesque mountain scenery, guests enjoyed a fun, casual gathering at Lynn Britt Cabin on Snowmass. Live country music and a jaw-dropping sunset added to the rustic atmosphere.

Alexis wanted a real up-in-the-mountains cook-out feeling that was totally different from the actual wedding.

Vintage images of Aspen served as escort cards.

Rustic table numbers set in log wedges helped guests find their seats.

Bandana napkins and tablecloths decorated the space. The bandanas came from Bandana Man.

A trail mix bar was set up for guests so they would have snacks for their hikes. It was a big hit.

Granola and yogurt-covered raisins were some of the trail mix options.

Guests scooped their trail mix into baggies that were printed with bandana patterns.

Chocolate-covered pretzels and strawberries were also available to sweeten up the trail mix bar.

Stephen and Alexis enjoyed toasts and speeches given by their guests.

Lynn Britt Cabin handled the menu for the evening, which featured comfort foods like mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.

A white backdrop was set up on the porch, and guests took impromptu snapshots with some humorous props. Everyone stopped by to take some candid photos. Alexis says this was her favorite element of the evening.
