Priyanka Chopra Weighs in on the Likelihood of Friend Meghan Markle Marrying Prince Harry
Plus, find out if the Quantico star thinks she'll be a bridesmaid.
Is another royal wedding in the works? If Quantico star Priyanka Chopra has any say in the matter, then the answer is a resounding "Yes." A close friend of Meghan Markle (AKA, Prince Harry's latest and greatest love interest), Chopra recently sat down with Wendy Williams and dished on the state of the couple's relationship.
"Here's the big deal, here's the big deal," Williams said to the actress. "You're friends with Meghan Markle." The statement was met with a nervous "right" from Chopra. Williams cut right to the chase, asking Chopra if she thought the couple was headed towards the altar. "Do you think they'll get married?" Williams asked. Chopra's response was just what we hoped for: "I don't know. I hope so! She seems so happy. I think they look great together."
But she was quick to insist that the couple should take their time making that important decision. "I hope so. I mean, no pressure. High profile relationships are so stressful anyway. As a friend, I wouldn't like to add on that at all," Chopra added. As for how Markle is handling the stress that comes with dating a royal, her friend admitted she seems to be taking it all in stride. "We talk more about my stress than hers She doesn't seem to have any!"
Chopra and Markle have been friends for over two years now, after having hit it off at a party. So does Chopra expect to be asked to be part of the bridal party? The short answer: No. "I don't think I'm that close to her," she said. "I don't know that. I mean, I've known her about two years now. We randomly met at a party and got on really well. So, I don't know. Once I get the invite-if I'm even invited."
