Floral Ceremony Arch
Credit: Natalie Watson Photography

Imagine standing next to your partner on your wedding day, promising to spend forever together. Pretty great, right? Now imagine doing that beneath a lush array of your favorite flowers. That's even better. Take your ceremony to new heights and frame the moment you become husband and wife with a wedding arch that reflects the mood of your special day. Though different types of wedding arches have both cultural and religious significances (representing protection, divine presence, and the home, to name a few), modern couples embrace the curve for aesthetic and décor purposes, too. We're sharing some of our favorite wedding arches that will help round out your big day.

A beautiful arbor can anchor an outdoor ceremony, serve as a photograph backdrop, act as an entryway, and even bring new meaning to your celebration. With flowers, fabrics, and various builds, arches are a gorgeous way to bring a bold new look to the end of your aisle. While it's possible to DIY a smaller-scale version of some of the ideas you'll see ahead, most couples will entrust the building of the ceremony structure to their florist and wedding planner to ensure all goes according to plan. It's a challenging process with many moving parts and delicate pieces.

Whether you're having a traditional Jewish ceremony and want your chuppah to be next level, or simply want to stand beneath a cascading cluster of your favorite roses, ceremony structures are a major component to wedding planning. If you're thinking of a beach wedding, we're sharing a tropical arch made of fronds and roses that is sure to catch your eye. Or, if your venue is the great outdoors, you'll love the overgrown, lush rose-filled arches we have in store. From broken-arch style structures to classic full, floral arches, ahead, explore some of our favorites from real weddings.
