Going Clean for Your Wedding? These Are the Best Natural Beauty Products for Brides
No funky ingredients on these items' lists!
1 of 16
If you love using organic, natural products in your daily life, there's no reason to change that when preparing for your wedding. Especially right now, when there are so many natural brands—that offer real results—out there (it helps that these indie beauty labels also often wrap their goodies in super chic packaging!). We can't count the number of times we walked into Credo or Shen and wanted to buy basically everything in sight. But since our bank accounts can't afford every incredible product on the market, we've narrowed it down to several must-haves—each of which is free of phlalates, sulfates, parabens, and the rest of those questionable, controversial ingredients. These buys will give you a pretty wedding-day polish, without breaking your clean streak.
When you think of clean beauty products, what's the first type that comes to mind? Skincare! While there are a few skincare-centric products on this list (including good-for-your-complexion foundations, highlighters, and more), the majority of these items revolve around makeup—something that might not be as intuitive on the green-beauty front. There are, however, clean mascaras, eye shadow options, and eye liners available to you—you just have to know the brands that offer them. As for a few of these brands to bookmark? Do some digging on Jane Iredale, RMS Beauty, and W3LL People—all of these companies have major clout in the world of natural makeup. We've even thrown in one hair product (note Christophe Robin's pre-shampoo clay mask, ahead!), just to prove that you can take an all-green-everything approach to your pre-wedding beauty routine.
Ready to go clean? Check out our favorite natural beauty products brides-to-be absolutely need in their medicine cabinets.

RMS Beauty
Highlighter can be tricky, because you want to wear enough that you look glowy and ethereal, but not so much that you look like you're going to a disco (unless, of course, that's your thing). This one is sheer and light, so you can just pat a bit on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, your cupid's bow (that's the curve of your upper lip!), and in the corners of your eyes for a just-dewy-enough, light-reflecting look.

Alima
This full-coverage concealer isn't cakey—in fact, it's moisturizing, which helps it blend seamlessly into your skin. (There's nothing worse than when concealer attracts more attention to what you're trying to cover up.) Bonus: It works on everything, from blemishes to hyperpigmentation and under-eye circles.

Not only is this one of the most flattering shades of red we've ever used (it's blue-based, so it looks good on everyone), but it contains several natural oils and fruits that hydrate and make your lips healthier each time you wear it. We like to dab it on with our finger and use it like a stain so that it looks effortless and unfussy.

Osmia
Bar soap got a bad rap for a bit, but it's making a comeback. Did you know it's naturally antibacterial, so you don't have to worry about it getting gross after each use? We recently discovered Osmia's bar soaps, and we especially love the Black Clay, which is perfect for combination or oily skin that's prone to breakouts. (Even if you don't get breakouts, it's not drying—it contains avocado, almond, and castor bean oils to moisturize.) The black clay and dead sea mud, however, are the hero ingredients, as they balance oil production and purify pores.
