Mandy Moore Doesn't Want to Wear a White Wedding Dress
She's shunning tradition for her upcoming nuptials.
In case you haven't heard, Mandy Moore's engaged to musician Taylor Goldsmith. Now, the media's keen on uncovering everything about her upcoming wedding. The This Is Us actress recently spoke with reporters, and shared one detail about her bridal attire: The star won't be wearing a classic, white wedding gown.
"I've never been the girl that wanted to wear a white dress," Moore shared. "No judgement, but it's not for me." We can't say we blame her, as she's already worn her fair share of wedding dresses on set, including one for This Is Us and one for A Walk to Remember. For her first wedding to singer Ryan Adams, she also eschewed tradition, opting instead for a cream-colored, tea-length number.
Moore also spilled a little on what the rest of her wedding will look like. "This is my second go-round," the celebrity noted. "I feel like I eloped before and I think I'll probably keep it very small again," she added. "I think it'll be just as small with family and friends. No bridal magazines for me." Earlier this month, she shared similar sentiments at the 2017 Emmy Awards. "I feel like the wedding will be sort of quiet," she revealed then.
Two weeks ago, news first broke of Moore's engagement to Goldsmith. Since then, the actress has celebrated the proposal with an engagement party. Moore and her friends shared photos on Instagram of the tea party-themed event.
