Bridesmaids Hold Puppies Wedding Photo

Earlier this month, couple Matt and Sarah Crain celebrated their wedding day in the most adorable way possible: with puppies! Instead of holding bouquets, the couple had their bridesmaids carry five 8-month-old rescue boxer-coonhound puppies. Even the groomsmen were into it! And photographer Caroline Logan had a ball.

"When the bride, Sarah, first came to me with this idea I was thrilled! Being a puppy lover myself (Who doesn't love a litter of sweet rescue pups?!) I was extra excited for Matt & Sarah's day to arrive," Caroline Logan told Martha Stewart Weddings.

Sarah decided to use the puppies in her photos because she is so passionate about rescuing dogs. She works at and helped start Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania's Pitties Love Peace, an organization dedicated to rescuing dogs. "All my pictures growing up, my parents have me off in the corner playing with an animal," Crain told Inside Edition.

"While photographing six rambunctious puppies definitely brought an added challenge, it also caused the bridal party to be more at ease, Logan said. "Having something to divert attention from that uncomfortable 'Oh my goodness, I'm getting my picture taken... what do I do with my hands?!' feeling to pure puppy bliss made for relaxed photos where the bridal party was able to focus on interacting with the fun-loving puppies as I documented it all unfold."

The five dogs featured in her wedding photos are rescue dogs that she helped raise. Their names are all inspired by first ladies: Martha, Abigail, Dolley, Elizabeth, and Louisa. Her husband, Matt, "was all about it." Throughout the years of working with dogs, Sarah turned Matt into a dog person.

"Her heart for rescue pups is obvious and she now gets to share that with Matt as they start their lives together as husband and wife with several fur-babies already part of their family, making life extra sweet," Logan told Inside Edition.

All the pups are now in foster homes while they wait for their forever homes.
