9 Dog Breeds That Look Like Puppies Even When They're Fully Grown

9 Dog Breeds That Look Like Puppies Even When They're Fully Grown

Puppies are irresistible. We fall in love with their big eyes, little button noses, fluffy tails, and clumsy paws. And yet, like any pet, puppies grow up and turn into dogs. Some breeds, like the Old English Sheepdog or Great Dane, will grow to become larger in size than most people. But not all dogs are destined to become giants. There are some breeds that stay small in size even when they're fully grown. You may want a forever puppy if you are used to smaller animals. Maybe you have a small apartment or just want a canine companion that you can easily carry along with you anywhere you go. Small dogs are also great for families with young children or those of senior age who are best matched with a breed they can physically handle. Fortunately, some specialty dog breeds are mixed to look like puppies throughout their entire lives—and they are sure to melt your heart the second you lay your eyes on them.

When it comes to wedding centerpieces, you have a lot of options: Tall arrangements always look chic; lush, long floral garlands feel whimsical and romantic; low centerpieces in vases and urns let conversation flow and still look beautiful. Each of these types of centerpieces are great choices for your reception, but there's a new floral trend we're loving, and it can check all of the boxes the three options above offer all on its own. Cluster centerpieces, which are made up of several different floral arrangements in a variety of different shapes and sizes, are popping up at wedding after wedding.

As far as centerpieces go, clusters of different blooms in tons of different vessels is about as versatile as you can get. Since you're really creating a bunch of mini arrangements, you and your florist can consider working with a wide array of different flowers, colors, and textures. On the other hand, if you love the look of cohesive floral décor, you can choose just a few different blooms or colors and create a monochromatic look that still feels fresh and new to guests. The options are endless, and so are the benefits.

Because cluster centerpieces typically span the entire table, you're able to get the same feeling a floral garland gives off, but usually at a fraction of the price. Similarly, you can play with different heights and sizes, bringing in that coveted high-low look. Couples are even creating little vignettes with their cluster centerpieces, bringing in additional glassware and décor to create extremely interesting displays. Want to wow your guests with your floral centerpieces? Trust us, clusters of flowers are the way to do it. Click through to see our favorite examples.

Berry-Hued Cluster Centerpieces

Art in Bloem arranged this delicate cluster of centerpieces using a variety of different berry-hued blooms, including clematis, ranunculus, peonies, and fritillaria. To keep the different colors and textures feeling cohesive, each mini centerpiece was displayed in a similar clear glass vase.

36 More Ideas for Using Succulents at Your Wedding

There was no shortage of color at this outdoor wedding. Without Wax Katy arranged these bright, cheery cluster centerpieces using an array of different flowers, but it's the peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and lilies that really stand out. These clusters are especially successful thanks to a mix of different size vases, taller and shorter arrangements, and unexpected textures tucked in—we especially love the succulents that pop up across the table.

It's hard to decide what's more eye-catching here: The cluster centerpieces or the macrame place setting. If you're especially smitten with the flowers, you can thank Noonan's Wine Country Designs, who designed this eclectic mix of mini centerpieces. Who knew single-stem flowers could look so chic?

Although the word "cluster" might make you think of several smaller arrangements, you can also create cluster centerpieces using larger vases of blooms. For an ultra-lush look, Megan Elise Events styled these loose, organic arrangements in pink cut glass vessels. Using a mix of statement flowers, like dahlias, protea, and ranunculus, and tons of trailing greenery, she ensured these cluster centerpieces were sitting pretty throughout the reception.
