Maggie and Greg
A formal wedding was definitely out of the question for a gal whose favorite present ever is a chicken coop built by her guy. Instead, Maggie and Greg, Atlanta lawyers with a burgeoning ice cream business on the side, threw an old-fashioned hoedown complete with a hog on a spit, pepper vinegar, and sorghum barbecue sauce.
Also on tap: bluegrass music and clog dancing. "We had two main priorities," says Maggie, who met Greg at a tailgate party in 2008. "Good food and good fun."

The Save-the-Dates
Cheery cards, which the bride hand-drew, then had letterpressed, hinted at the wedding's let's-have-a-great-big-party feel.

The Bridesmaids
Maggie's attendants wore cocktail-length Amsale dresses of their own choosing in shades of charcoal, vanilla, blush, and champagne. Each carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet, a field-fresh bundle of ranunculus, garden roses, and peonies.

Parting Gifts
Every guest got to take home a little piece of Georgia -- jelly from the bride's hometown of Colquitt made from mayhaw fruit. The variety, found mainly in the south, has been called a "kissing cousin" of the crabapple.
