Kristen Stewart and Stella Maxwell Just Crashed This Couple's Wedding
Kristen Stewart just made a new case for leaving empty seats at your wedding reception. Brides Kirsten and Kayleigh Jennings said "I do" in Winnipeg last weekend, but when the reception rolled around they discovered an extra guest had arrived at the celebration: Yes, Kristen Stewart can officially be called a wedding crasher.
The Twilight star and her girlfriend, Stella Maxwell, arrived uninvited at the celebration, but it didn't take long for the entire reception to welcome the unexpected guests with open arms. "For us, we wanted to make sure they didn't segregate themselves and interacting with everyone," bride Kayleigh shared with E! News. "Hopefully they felt normal and had fun."
"She pulled up with Stella and we were introduced to them," her brand-new wife Kirsten added. "At one point, someone asked her what kind of music she liked and she said, 'I love the Beastie Boys' so they played some Beastie Boys."
The couple's DJ, Karli Elizabeth Colpitts, captured a shot of the newlyweds with their surprise wedding guest and shared it to Instagram to commemorate the occasion, and made note of the actress and director's musical preferences. "Dj'd the MOST fun wedding for these incredible woman last night and had an unplanned guest show up to dance with us at the end of the night! Apparently Kristen Stewart loves Beastie boys!" she wrote in her caption of the snap, which features Stewart hugging the brides and flashing a peace sign at the camera.
"It was complimentary to have her there but we just tried to keep it as normal and casual as possible," Kayleigh said. "They were just trying to have a good time just like the rest of us." And the highlight of the whole thing? According to Kirsten, celebrating their marriage even amidst a celebrity or two. "Probably the best part was everyone still make us feel like the guests of honor."
