Pom-Pom Car Decoration
Guests will cheer you on when you zip away after the ceremony in a car covered with pom-pom garlands. These decorations are easy to make with tissue paper and twine, and they stay on the car with suction cups, which won't damage the auto's exterior.
To create the pom-poms, use a pom-pom-making tool or craft them yourself. For one pom-pom, you'll need four 6-by-9-1/2-inch pieces of tissue paper. (If you'd like a multihued pom-pom, use patterned paper or sheets in different colors.) Stack paper; fold accordion-style, making 3/4-inch folds. Snip ends into points; tie middle with twine. To make a garland, tie the flat pom-poms together with colorful twine. Tie on suction cups where needed and affix cups to car. When you're ready to decorate the car, fluff out each pom-pom.
