Exclusive: Get a Sneak Peek at Stone Fox Bride's New Wedding Dresses!
The brand debuts the Fall 2016 designs, which are inspired by Imagine Vince Camuto shoes, in this dreamy video.
Bohemian bridal brand Stone Fox Bride is unveiling its new wedding dresses in classic "foxy bride" fashion: with a dreamy video! Inspired by Imagine Vince Camuto shoes and aptly (and adorably) dubbed "Heart + Sole," the Fall 2016 collection carries over the same stylish, laid-back vibe that has come to define SFB-but with a fun twist.
"The goal was to capture the essence of our latest line in under two minutes: minimalist yet lavish, groovy yet graceful, fitted and flowy," says founder and creative director Molly Guy. "A pale pink caftan paired with pastel satin strappy stilettos, a white silk mod minidress with 'something blue' heels and more-for the romantic, classic rock bride to wear while spinning like a Woodstock Wild Child in a field flowers, or dancing a slow Viennese Waltz through a gilded baroque ballroom."
In the two-minute film shot by Sebastian Mlynarski, the gowns are modeled by Anastasia Klaffert, who recites wedding vows and even shares a spin with her real-life husband. "I'm usually in a button-down shirt and glasses reading tech magazines. It was so nice to get dressed up and dance together," Klaffert says of her cameo with her husband, whom she married in a South African olive grove in 2012.
And just in case you were inspired by those wedding vows (we know we were!), SFB provided a transcript:
I take you to be my partner in life
to have and to hold
for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish
I will share my umbrella with you
even when it's raining on my red velvet shoes
I will let you be who you are
and give you room to breathe + grow
I will walk with you hand-in-hand
from East Village to West Village
from Brooklyn to Babylon
from sun to moon
and sea to sea
to the ends of the earth
and back again
I will be the light that guides
you home through the dark of night
Forever starts with a single step.
