Kate Middleton Rewore an Old Dress to the Royal Wedding
As anticipated, Meghan Markle's simple and modern Givenchy wedding dress was absolutely breathtaking. Of course, Prince Harry looked dapper in uniform, too. But the bride and groom weren't the only royals offering serious style inspiration. Kate Middleton's pastel dress is one that fans can't stop talking about, largely because it's a royal rewear.
Kate's structured yellow dress-no, it wasn't white!-is one you've probably seen her in before, as Middleton has worn this pastel outfit twice already, including to Princess Charlotte's christening. It was also designed by Alexander McQueen, the very same fashion house responsible for her own wedding dress. She accessorized with a fancy fascinator (a royal wedding must-have) by Philip Treacy with a floral accent underneath the brim. Her shoes were Jimmy Choo, Kensington Palace reports.
William, who served as Prince Harry's best man, dressed the part in uniform as well. His regal outfit actually resembled his brother's getup for his own wedding back in 2011. As expected, the married couple masterfully mixed fanciness with fashion for the big day. Their attire definitely impressed, but it also didn't steal any thunder from the man and woman of honor-a very important goal when choosing an outfit as a wedding guest.
The couple were joined by their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who also looked picture-perfect for the event. George got all dressed up in a black ensemble for his role as page boy. Meanwhile his younger sister, Charlotte, wore a white dress too for her role as bridesmaid, and accessorized with the sweetest flower crown. She accessAnother noteworthy royal in the style category? The Queen herself. She went with a very spring-appropriate green jacket and floral dress. And lest we forget the bride's mom, Doria Ragland! She was a vision in a green mother-of-the-bride dress.
