Prince William Is Reportedly Planning Prince Harry's Bachelor Party
Let the royal pre-wedding celebrations begin!
With just over five months until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tie the knot, pre-wedding celebrations plans are already underway. According an Us Weekly source, Prince William is currently organizing his younger brother's stag party (the UK equivalent of a bachelor party).
However, the party won't echo Prince Harry's younger years. "Don't expect anything wild," the insider said, of Prince William's plans. Considering the event will be orchestrated by the future King of England, it's more than likely that the event will be low-key. If the brothers' relationship is any indication, though, there will be plenty of fun to go around. After Harry chose William to be his best man, a source close to the brothers commented on their close bond. "Harry has several close guy friends, but there's no way he would ask anyone but William to take on the top job," they told Us Weekly.
Prince William recently joked in an interview about how thrilled he is about his little brother's impending marriage-revealing the brothers' true relationship. "For me, personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, it will stop him scrounging off of my food. He's done it the last few years," he laughed to a reporter last week, before offering his genuine congratulations. "It's a fantastic process to go through, you know, the engagement, and then the buildup to the wedding. I think they're very caught up in the moment, and I wish them all the happiness and success in planning the wedding."
William isn't the only member of the royal family to express his excitement about the happy couple's nuptials. "William and I are absolutely thrilled. It's such exciting news," Kate Middleton said, after the news broke. "It's a really happy time for any couple and we wish them all the best and hope they enjoy this happy moment." Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement on November 27, 2017, after nearly two years of dating. A day after the announcement, Kensington Palace revealed that the couple would tie the knot in May of 2018 at Windsor Castle.
