Go Inside Colton Haynes & Jeff Leatham's Magical Proposal!
Even Cher helped!
If you want to have a proposal you'll never forget, take a page out of Jeff Leatham's book. The Four Seasons Hotel floral designer popped the question to boyfriend and actor Colton Haynes during their vacation in Mexico. It's one thing to have a stunning beach proposal in the moonlight, but quite another to have fireworks and Cher help out!
On Saturday night, Jeff proposed to the Teen Wolf actor on the beach with the help of some well-known celebrity friends. A giant movie screen was set up on the beach, where a prerecorded video from Cher played. "So, I got you babe!" She said. "Alright, this is for you, you know what it is, you know what you're supposed to do now and this is gonna be the best thing ever and you have to call me to tell me how it worked out, alright!" Melanie Griffith, Serena Williams, Ally Maki, and more friends all prerecorded videos that played.
After Colton said yes, "Marry You" by Bruno Mars played while fireworks were let off, and the couple danced, Colton's rep said. The actor posted on Instagram after the magical proposal with a picture of the two kissing under the fireworks with the caption, "I SAID YES!!!" He also shared another picture of the two with the video of Cher, captioned, "Thank you @cher for the beautiful "I got you babe" proposal lead in, you sounded incredible as always :) The most special night of my life."
Their good friend, actor Ally Maki, shared a picture of Colton crying and showing his beautiful engagement, a band of diamonds. Just last year, Colton came out publicly and made is relationship official with Jeff just a month ago on Instagram. "I'm so blessed and happy for the future and my life together with Jeff," Colton told E! News. After seeing this magical proposal, we can't wait to see what their wedding will be like! Congrats to Colton and Jeff!
