Not only did Nicole Williams plan the wedding day of her dreams to NFL player Larry English, she also prepared a wedding look to match. The model and star of E!'s Wags LA, who got engaged on the reality show's fall season finale, and said "I do" last night in California, wore an incredible custom wedding dress by red-carpet designer Michael Costello and we have all the gorgeous details–plus an exclusive look at her fitting for that amazing gown.

"I wouldn't say anything really inspired me for this look," Williams said of her ultra-glam wedding dress. "But more so I just incorporated my own style to the dress." She did admit that the decision to go with long sleeves had to do with her preference for a unique sense of style and thinking outside the box, adding, "Whatever you would most likely picture me in, I want to do the exact opposite."

Another element of Williams' dress decisions? Knowing right away she wanted to work with Costello on a brand new, totally unique wedding dress. "I only tried on one dress that Michael Costello used to just show me the fit," she said of her introduction to wedding-dress shopping. "We knew that we were going to start from scratch from the start and design something one of a kind."

That also means the creative process included one of our favorite things: gorgeous sketches of the dress. And with this particular sketch, it's easy to see Costello had something incredible in mind for the dress from the very beginning.

But what led the bride to be to start with Costello? According to Williams, that decision was simple. "Well first of all he's a very dear friend, and secondly, if anyone knows how to make a statement dress it's Michael Costello," the model said. "I mean, he does dress Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez! You tell him how you want to look, and boom!"

As for the designer, Costello himself, inspiration for Williams' gown came easily. "I was inspired by a variety of things while designing Nicole's wedding gown, but her natural beauty was the foundation of it all," Costello said. "Nicole is graceful, stylish, and I knew from the start she'd look amazing in a mermaid-like dress." With the silhouette decided upon, Costello went on to add beadwork to give the dress character, and kept the idea of a Parisian bride and vintage-meets-modern elegance front of mind. "We wanted the dress to have a sophisticated, modern feel with a very sexy edge…The dress reminds me of rain falling from the sky, but in crystal form."

And with details like these, we understand. Lace, beading, illusion elements, plus a plunging neckline, and a train that we're confident took center stage for some absolutely incredible wedding photos! In other words, Costello has created the perfect wedding dress to complement the nearly six-carat diamond and rose gold engagement ring English presented Williams with when he popped the question.

While Williams admits wedding planning itself was stressful, she loved seeing floral and reception decisions come together. Plus, there's nothing like an amazing dress to make every other detail pale in comparison. "I feel so elegant and sexy in my dress," Williams said. "The style is so romantic, when I have it on I truly feel like, 'Wow, I'm really getting married!'"

We'll see more of Williams and English's big day when E's WAGS LA returns for season three on Thursday, August 24 at 9PM ET/PT.
