The Royal Family Just Released the First Photos From Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston's Wedding
The couple got married at the same venue as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry over their anniversary weekend.
Almost exactly one year after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding, the royal family celebrated another union at Windsor Castle (which was also Meghan and Harry's venue!)-this time between Lady Gabriella Windsor and her now-husband Thomas Kingston. Although spectators caught glimpses of the bride and groom entering and exiting George's Chapel on May 18th, no official photos had been released. Until now, that is. The royal family has finally shared three wedding portraits, which were taken on the grounds of Windsor's Frogmore House, where the reception was held.
The first image shows the newlyweds posing outside in their big-day ensembles. Lady Gabriella wore a lace A-line Luisa Beccaria wedding dress with a boat neckline and illusion long sleeves, which she accessorized with a fringe-style tiara and veil. The remaining photos show the couple with the young members of their wedding party-who all wore white for the occasion-as well as the couple's family (the Queen can be seen in a bright pink jacket, matching hat, and floral dress).
The public also got a peek at Lady Gabriella and Kingston's wedding cake, thanks to an Instagram photo posted by the bride's cousin, Flora Alexandra Ogilvy. The picture featured the smiling duo cutting into a round eight-tier confection decorated with white florals, which matched the bride's rose and greenery bouquet. "My wildly beautiful cousin Ella married her beloved Tom today and it was a heavenly wedding," Ogilvy wrote in the caption.
Although Meghan Markle couldn't attend the special event due to the birth of her son, Archie, earlier this month, Prince Harry was all smiles as he gathered around his family on the neighboring grounds of his and Markle's residence (they live in the nearby Frogmore Cottage!). Other famous attendees included Prince Philip, Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews, Princess Beatrice, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, and Sarah Ferguson.
