Anne and Shane
Back in 2003, when college student Anne Zuelke started working at an athletics store in Kalamazoo, Michigan, her coworkers would always chat about the owners' son, Shane Dykhuis, who was away camping and exploring the Pacific Northwest. "He was a bit infamous around the store because he was such a cool guy," she says. Over the next few years, they hung out once or twice with other employees, but when Shane moved back to Michigan during Anne's senior year, the two found themselves both single. On their first date in 2005, the sporty pair, who now live in San Francisco, took a canoe ride. A few months later, they started training for a marathon together. In 2010, on a trip to Yosemite National Park, Shane proposed. The pair married on August 25, 2012, in West Olive, Michigan, at a summer camp near Anne's childhood home.

Beachy Decor
Immediately after, everyone gathered in the mess hall for duck tamales and grilled halibut served with limeade and iced tea. The beachy scene shaped the affair's simple, laid-back details, including kraft-paper stationery and single-flower arrangements. White dahlias and candles lit up tables.
