Prince Harry Was Already Spotted Without His Wedding Ring
There's more to the story, though.
After a brief hiatus for what's assumed to have been his honeymoon, Prince Harry is back in the public eye. He appeared yesterday in two capacities: hitting the gym and attending a gala. The first outing had many fans scratching their heads, as his ensemble was missing a very important accessory-the newlywed's wedding band was nowhere in sight.
Us Weekly shared photos of the Duke of Sussex in workout attire, and from the looks of it, he wasn't wearing the piece of jewelry. This came as a surprise considering previous reports that he'd be breaking with tradition to wear the band. Is he following the lead of Prince William after all, and deciding not to don the ring? We wouldn't bet on it.
The same day, the prince attended an event for OnSide Youth Zones, where he reportedly gave a moving speech supporting the charity's work for young people. There, he was wearing his wedding band, People shared. Maybe the royal left his ring at home earlier because he didn't want to damage it.
Meghan Markle didn't join her husband at the gala, but we're sure to see her soon. The Duchess of Sussex is embarking on outings with Queen Elizabeth II next week. Now, she's likely settling back in after returning from the couple's honeymoon. It's still unclear exactly where they went. Reports have suggested Africa, Canada, and even Ireland. According to People, a representative from Jasper Park Lodge (their alleged Canadian destination) denied the Canada rumors, though. A local Irish news outlet also denied that the couple were staying at Ireland's Ashford Castle.
