Turns out, there's a lot we don't know about Prince Harry's future bride, Meghan Markle. Before her acting career took off, the future royal held a handful of odd jobs, including a stint as a Deal or No Deal suitcase model. Surprisingly, Markle also spent time as a freelance wedding calligrapher-so we can expect her and Prince Harry's invitation suite to be top-notch.

The actress proved her skill in an interview with Larry King, where she explained where her unexpected talent took root. "I went to an all-girl Catholic school," she said. "Handwriting class was one of those lost arts." When King asked if "wedding reception people" employ calligraphers, Markle nodded in agreement. It sounds like Prince Harry's fiancée has had ample experience in the wedding industry!

The Suits actress told Esquire in 2013 that "calligraphy was [my] pseudo-waitressing job" while she searched for her big break. "I didn't wait tables. I did calligraphy for the invitations for, like, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's wedding," she explained. "I think handwritten notes are a lost art form. When I booked my first [TV] pilot, my dad wrote me a letter that I still have. The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special."

She also offered some pretty romantic advice for everyone attempting to hand-write a love letter-and now we're wondering what Prince Harry's love notes look like, with a professional calligrapher in the house! "I guess the number-one thing is you have to take your time. Just do fluid strokes, you don't have to have a fancy pen by any means," she said. "At the end of the day, if the guy is going to write the girl a letter, whether it's chicken scratch or scribble or looks like a doctor's note, if he takes the time to put pen to paper and not type something, there's something so incredibly romantic and beautiful about that."
