When it came time to find the perfect wedding dress ahead of her 2013 nuptials, designer Alexandra Grecco realized that the only way she'd find what she was looking for was to take matters into her own hands. Although she had already released a ready-to-wear collection in 2010, Grecco saw this as her opportunity to create a wedding dress collection that echoed her aesthetic and used high-quality fabrics that brides would cherish. Since launching her eponymous bridal collection in 2014, Grecco has sourced materials from around the globe and worked with local artisans and seamstresses in the Garment District of New York City to produce her distinct designs.
Today, Grecco's line still holds true to her original vision: To create ethereal gowns with nontraditional touches. Her inspiration? Places like the French Quarter and Il de Ré, as well as the fashions popular in decades past, have influenced the looks in her previous wedding dress collections. All of that translates to sleek, beautiful designs with clean classics and classic silhouettes meant to flatter any bride, no matter what her personal style may be. This season followed suit. The designer debuted 11 brand-new wedding dresses, and there was no shortage of delicate lacework, low necklines, and figure-flattering silhouettes. If you're searching for a wedding dress that feels like a modern take on a classic, you'll be pleased with what you see here. From ball gowns with unique lace paneling to sheaths with high slits or ruffled details, Grecco's latest designs further prove that she's a master when it comes to reimagining the traditional.
If you're already drawn to Grecco's one-of-a-kind aesthetic or want a unique look for your big day, then you'll be wowed by the following garments from her latest collection, all fresh off the runway at Bridal Fashion Week. Who knows, your perfect wedding dress may just be a few clicks ahead.
