Emily Ratajkowski Just Revealed Her Engagement Ring
Ever since Emily Ratajkowski and music producer Sebastian Bear-McClard tied the knot in February, the duo has sported matching gold rings to mark their union. The bands tell a personal story-the rings, created from an ounce of gold found in New York City's Chinatown, were hand-forged by the couple. Though Ratajkowski is still sporting this unique accessory, she's added some serious sparkle to that left finger, reports Entertainment Tonight.
The I Feel Pretty actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the first images of her major engagement ring. The bling features two differently-cut diamonds-a square and a pear-arranged asymmetrically on what appears to be another gold band. One photo shows her husband smiling in the background. As for her original wedding ring? The model has chosen to wear the band above her diamonds (we're loving this swapped look!).
This marks the first time that Ratajkowski has sported diamonds since exchanging vows at City Hall. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon in April, she revealed that her then-fiancé had proposed to her without a ring. "He proposed to me at Minetta Tavern [a restaurant in New York City] and he didn't have a ring," she shared. "He then took the paperclip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring, which I actually thought was really romantic."
Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard married quietly in early 2018 after just a few weeks of dating. The celebrity wore a mustard-hued pantsuit for the occasion and accessorized her nontraditional bridal look with a black hat. The intimate ceremony was attended by just a few guests, including the social media star The Fat Jewish (who wore a sweatsuit to the nuptials!). As for her beau? He rocked a pale-blue jacket with a black t-shirt underneath. The duo announced their marriage on Instagram, with a few black-and-white wedding day photos.
