The singer said "yes" to her now-fiancé, actor Max Ehrich, after an intimate proposal on the beach.

After about four months of dating, Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich are engaged. According to People, the actor got down on one knee during an intimate proposal in Malibu, California. Demi revealed that she always knew her soon-to-be husband was "the one" as she announced their engagement on Instagram. "@maxehrich—I knew I loved you the moment I met you," she wrote. "It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too... I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all."

She went on to share that she can't wait to see what the future holds for them: "You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I'm honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I'm ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here's to our future!"

An insider revealed to the outlet that the pair's relationship became stronger after they decided to quarantine together, following the start of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The source added that after two months, Max "already had the stone." He was just waiting for celebrity jeweler Peter Marco to complete the massive engagement ring, complete with an emerald-cut center stone flanked by two additional diamonds, before popping the question.

Max wrote his own tribute on social media to his bride-to-be, too, sharing that she is all he could hope for in a partner. "Ahhhh! You are every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything I could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life," he penned. "Words cannot express how infinitely in love with you I am forever and always and then some. I cannot spend another second of my time here on Earth without the miracle of having you as my wife."
