Julianne Hough Calls Marriage to Brooks Laich "Even Better" Than the Honeymoon Phase
You have to read her entire post.
Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich may have just tied the knot two months ago, but the honeymoon phase is officially over. In the best way possible, that is. According to Hough, this new stage of their relationship is "even better" than post-wedded bliss. The new Mrs. Laich just shared a throwback from their actual honeymoon, and you have to read what she captioned it with.
Yesterday, the dancer shared a #tbt of the spouses on their post-wedding vacation, calling the trip "incredible." But that vacation just doesn't beat normal married life, she's quick to point out. "As amazing as it was (take me back), I feel so lucky that our 'real life' is even better than 'the honeymoon phase,'" she shared.
"I love that I get to wake up next to you every single day, and that we walk side by side in all we do. I love that my random thoughts throughout the day no longer revolve around the words me, or I, rather, we and us," she added. "Brooks, I look up to you as a human, as a friend, and as my husband. You encourage me to be the best version of myself and I hope I do the same for you. I love you!"
Hough and Laich tied the knot in July with a star-studded lakeside ceremony, and they just got back from their envy-worthy travels in Africa. Their honeymoon included a relaxing Seychelles escape, plus an adventure-filled safari in Kenya. Hough recently told the press that she feels "more whole" as a spouse.
