A California Wine Country Wedding with an Apropos Signature Color—Cabernet

Tied with a Bow

Soft ivory and gold foil invitations created by Willemina Typography set the tone for the big day: classic with a hint of whimsy, which was built into the couple's custom monogram. Each suite was tied with a pink silk bow.

The Dream Dress

Dianna's first priority after the proposal? "To choose the wedding dress I envisioned myself in," she says. Dianna had long dreamt of a lace dress—and from the moment she spotted a lace-sleeved dress on Pinterest, she knew she'd buy one with sleeves. Dianna eventually purchased a David Tutera gown that looked exactly like her inspiration photo.

Suit and Tie

Amar opted for a navy Tom Ford tuxedo, then paired it with coordinating Tom Ford tie, shoes, and socks. "He loves that brand," Dianna says.

Bridesmaids Dresses

Because Dianna wanted her friends to "feel beautiful and comfortable," she selected cabernet-colored floor-length dresses she felt flattered every body type.

The Groomsmen

To coordinate with the bridesmaids, each groomsman wore an aubergine tie and pocket square.

The Boutonnières

Boutonnières included a mix of blooms in deep reds with ivory and pink accents.

Too Late to Run

The flower girl wore a lace burgundy-colored dress, while the ring bearer—dressed in deep red suspenders and a matching bow tie—carried a wooden sign that read, "Too late to run…here she comes!"

Ceremony with a View

Jade Magnolia Creative created a ceremony space in front of a pond overlooking the vineyards, complete with an arbor draped in fabric and topped with fresh flowers.

Floral Arrangements

Floral designer Flowers by Kim accented each row of wooden ceremony chairs with red and ivory blooms.

Down the Aisle

Dianna says her favorite memory from her wedding day was "walking down the stairs into the ceremony [and] being able to get a glimpse of everyone waiting for me to make my way down the aisle." As Dianna's father escorted her into the ceremony space to the "Wedding March," Dianna watched his face and was overcome with emotion. "I'm the youngest and the only female," she explains of the powerful moment with her dad, "but I felt better when Amar grabbed my hand with a huge smile and brought me to the altar."

Cocktail Hour

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed onto Rava Winery's tasting room patio to enjoy passed appetizers—and a chef-attended pink salt block station—by caterer Trumpet Vine.

A Little Salty

At this interactive station, guests could talk with the chef and watch as she prepared their food over hot pink salt blocks.

Time to Dine

In addition to passed appetizers and their salt-block options, guests could choose a steak filet or chicken with seasonal sides for dinner.

Drink Up

A pennant flag listed drinks available at the couple's bar in pretty calligraphy script. Of course, in keeping with the couple's theme, Cabernet Sauvignon was available.

Find Your Seat

Guests could find their handwritten seat assignments pinned to a fabric banner adorned with fresh flowers and flanked by pillar candles in glass cylinders.

The Reception

The reception was held in Rava Winery's courtyard. According to Jade Magnolia Creative, the courtyard boasted views of the vineyards and was lit by string lights and hundreds of candles. A mix of round and wood farm tables provided by All About Events enhanced the already-stunning setting.

Candlelit

No matter its shape, every table was topped with votive and pillar candles that cast a romantic glow as the sun began to set. Arrangements made of deep red roses and dahlias—plus ivory blooms, ferns, and foliage—in pedestal dishes decorated the tables.

The Details

Each wood farm table was draped with a delicate lace runner, while round tables were covered in champagne linens, then topped with the same lace overlay.

Beyond the lace runners and cloths, additional delicate details abounded: Ivory plates included lace-like rims and blush napkins were placed at every setting. The silverware was rose gold; the glasses were rimmed with yellow gold.

Sweetheart Table

Dianna and Amar enjoyed their dinner at a sweetheart table that was topped and surrounded by beautiful deep red and ivory flower arrangements.

Red Velvet

For their four-tier white wedding cake by Christine Rocha, Dianna and Amar chose chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet flavors. But guests were also treated to baklava, a traditional dessert in the groom's culture.
