Shortly after that—on Christmas Eve—Amar found himself on bended knee in front of Disneyland's castle, asking Dianna to be his wife. That fairy-tale proposal was followed by a ten-month-long engagement that ended in a dreamy wedding on October 27, 2018, in Paso Robles, California. "[Our wedding was] special because we chose a beautiful winery venue that looked out on the vineyards," says Dianna. Plus, Dianna adds, "We had an amazing catering company, great music, and [were] surrounded by wonderful family and friends." Held at Rava Winery, Dianna and Amar chose to embrace cabernet colors as part of their elegant and romantic wedding at the winery. (Of course, the couple also served actual wine!) Jade Magnolia Creative took the creative reins, orchestrating an event that was timeless, yet punctuated with unique details. (Trust us: Just wait until you see the salt blocks used to serve appetizers—or the red dress the flower girl wore.) The couple welcomed 140 guests to their wedding—but Dianna encourages other brides to let their big days be about them. "A tip for couples is that it is difficult pleasing everyone. After all, it's your day—so however you envision it and plan it to make you happy is all that matters. [Just] enjoy every single moment," she says. Another tip? Hire a planner that can make your event as perfect as Jade Magnolia Creative made this one, says the bride. "Having a coordinator is important and helpful," Dianna says. "It gets a lot of weight off your shoulders." "To choose the wedding dress I envisioned myself in," she says. Dianna had long dreamt of a lace dress—and from the moment she spotted a lace-sleeved dress on Pinterest, she knew she'd buy one with sleeves. Dianna eventually purchased a David Tutera gown that looked exactly like her inspiration photo.
