Exclusive: Get an Inside Look at Confetti System for Paperless Post!
Inspired by tassels, glitter, and of course confetti, this new invitation line is beyond adorable.
Confetti System, a party décor company that uses simple materials like tissue paper, cardboard, and silk to create inspiring centerpieces, hanging pieces, and more, has teamed up with Paperless Post to design a line of greeting cards and invitations-and we're totally in love.
The 10 invitations and two greeting cards are designed around Confetti System's signature piñatas, colorful tassels, and mylar fringe. Co-founders Nick Andersen and Julie Ho bring a bit of sparkle and shine to these invitations that are perfect for showers, bachelorette parties, weddings, and any celebration that involves a little bubbly.
"Collaborating with the experts at Paperless Post couldn't have been more natural," says Ho. "We both help people celebrate a wide spectrum of life's moments. The opportunity to share this collection and our perspective on celebration is very exciting for us."
"It's rare that we get to collaborate with people who spend as much time thinking about parties as we do," adds James Hirschfeld, CEO and co-founder of Paperless Post. "Confetti System's installations fill events with an atmosphere of joy, and these invitations bring parties full circle in an immersive way."
After deciding to focus on a few core concepts, Ho and Andersen handmade each element as a three-dimensional object and photographed them very carefully to ensure the images translated seamlessly online and on paper. "It was challenging to capture the light, color, and energy of our installations, but we're in love with the results," says Andersen. "The cards are a perfect distillation of our favorite pieces, and Paperless Post makes them really easy to share."
Confetti System has worked with celebrity clients like Beyoncé, for whom they created ultra-fine confetti that added the dreamy firefly effect for her "1+1" video, as well as advertising projects with brands like J.Crew, Opening Ceremony, and Converse.
Their favorite stationery trend right now is fringe, one of their most popular products: "We're in love with our fringe envelope liners as part of our Paperless Post collection. It's our signature, and a custom detail that makes receiving a card from our collection a bit of a thrill."
