Meghan Markle Is Going to Be a Bride!
On her hit television show, Suits, that is.
Get ready to see Meghan Markle in a wedding dress! Unfortunately, it won't be for a wedding to Prince Harry-or at least not yet. Instead, the actress will be playing the part of bride in a fictional ceremony. Following the announcement that both Markle and her on-screen love, Patrick J. Adams, will leave Suits after this season, the show's creators and writers decided to give the TV couple their happy ending. According to Us Weekly's sources, characters Rachel and Mike will tie the knot in the upcoming season, and the actors filmed the nuptials inside a Toronto hotel last weekend.
"Everything has been so on lockdown," the insider said, adding that the cast and crew have kept details of the ceremony top-secret. The source also revealed that today marks Markle's last day on set, and that everyone is feeling "nostalgic" about her exit. "Meghan has been extra pleasant on set and more personable, really engaging with the cast and crew," another insider said.
Rumors about her departure from Suits have been circulating for some time now, citing Markle's upcoming move to London as the cause. "She'll relocate to London for sure," a source told Us Weekly earlier this month. Reports also say that she and Prince Harry will announce their engagement soon after Markle settles into the royal's Kensington Palace home, where she will participate in a "detailed media rollout." Since her move is allegedly set to immediately follow her exit from Suits, this fictional wedding brings us that much closer to her real one.
As bright as Markle and Prince Harry's future is, the actress will certainly be emotional about leaving her castmates of six years. Us Weekly's source said that the cast is "getting along better than ever" and planning on throwing a wrap party in her honor sometime next week. "She has always been sweet, but since dating Harry, she became much more reserved until now," said the insider, before revealing that they've never seen Markle happier.
