John Legend Just Shared His and Chrissy Teigen's Secret to a Happy Marriage
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are the modern definition of relationship goals. But how did their marriage reach that summit? In an interview with Today, the "All of Me" singer shared his recipe for marital bliss. "We actually really love and respect and admire each other. I think that's the foundation of who we are as a couple and we actually enjoy each other's company," he explained. Another major relationship tenet? Humor. "My wife makes me laugh all the time. I make her laugh occasionally. Everyone knows she's funnier than I am."
Legend also spent some time praising his wife, a new mom of two. "She's so good. She's so attentive, she's so loving and she also has a great sense of humor about it all," he explained, before launching into how his son, Miles, has changed his family's dynamic. "It was already the three of us with Luna and it's really fun bringing someone new into that and giving him so much love and seeing Luna show him so much love, too. It's been fun watching her become a big sister."
When asked if there's anything about family life that he and Teigen prefer to keep private, Legend played it cool. "Yeah, that's the stuff I can't tell you about!" he joked. "There's plenty that we don't share. Sometimes we want to be honest about what it's like being a parent and let people know that even though we're celebrities, we go through a lot of the same things that they go through."
As for the Legend clan's plans to expand their family of four? The duo are hoping to add to their family in the distant future. "We're hoping to have more kids but, you know, we haven't made any plans yet, but we're definitely open to it. We need a little break though!"
