Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are no strangers to breaking royal protocol, something they're officially applying to parenting. Us Weekly reports the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning on raising their new son, Archie, with American traditions-which involves bringing the little one stateside as soon as possible.

That's right: Baby Archie will be coming to America as soon as he's old enough to fly, since educating Archie about both American and British customs first hand is something that is very important to Markle, the outlet alledged. "For Meghan, it's just as important for Archie to learn about her family history as it is for him to learn about his royal ancestors, so she plans to go on a trip to L.A. with him once she's comfortable taking him on a plane," a source said.

This isn't the first unexpected decision the couple has made since the birth of their baby. Rather than posing on the steps of the hospital with their bundle of joy, Markle, Prince Harry, and Archie took photos near their home, in Windsor Castle-they also have yet to give him a royal title. "Meghan likes to do things her way," the source said. "She's a very strong woman who wants to use her role to modernize the monarchy, which is one of the reasons she and Harry decided to reject a title for Archie. [She and Prince Harry] want their son to lead a normal life."

During the photo session, the duo opened up to their fans about adjusting to parenthood. "It's magic. It's pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I'm really happy," Markle said, according to People. Prince Harry also shared his excitement about becoming a father. "It's great. Parenting is amazing. It's only been two and a half days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy," he told the press.
